Pie, Place, and Possibility: Rural Assembly Everywhere Gathering and Watch Party!
September 17, 2025 | 11 AM – 4:30 PM CDT
@ The YES! House | 726 Prentice St, Granite Falls, MN

Join DoPT and The YES! House on Wednesday, September 17th for a full day of connection, creativity, and community as we host a local watch party and live gathering for Rural Assembly Everywhere in Granite Falls!

Rural Assembly Everywhere is the annual virtual gathering of the Rural Assembly, a program of the Center for Rural Strategies. Everywhere brings together people from across the country who care deeply about their rural places, neighbors, and community issues.

Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to live, work, and dream in rural places; from storytelling and intergenerational knowledge-sharing to building community spaces and crafting futures rooted in abundance.

The day begins with a community lunch and national watch party of Rural Assembly Everywhere, followed by creative reflection and panel conversations on rural futures moderated by guest speakers, and a live edition of the Beyond the Clock Happy Hour at the iconic Bluenose Gopher Public House. Expect pie, live music, and meaningful conversations about rural journalism, storytelling, and creative space-making.

Food and beverages will be provided! This event and Rural Assembly Everywhere are free to attend, and registration is required. The in-person event at The YES! House will be limited to 40 attendees; we request those who register to stay for the full in-person event at The YES! House in Granite Falls, MN on September 17th from 11 AM – 4:30 PM CST.

The virtual broadcast will be live streamed at The YES! House and features speakers, conversations, music, and other rural culture.
