Gatherin' Granite:
Microgrants for Neighborly Gatherings
Have an idea for bringing your neighbors together?
This microgrant of $50–$300 offers funding for local community members to cover what you need to get together with and/or support your (human and non-human!) neighbors. This could be a block party, picnic, PowerPoint night, wildlife walk, river clean-up, backyard BBQ, front porch concerts, or anything your creative mind can come up with! This is your chance to connect with your (human or non-human) neighbors, on us!
The funds can be used for any part of the gathering, such as food, a karaoke system, cool lights, a new community board game, parade supplies, etc., as long as you are utilizing the resources to connect with your (human or non-human) neighbors! We especially encourage folks who are newer to hosting public and/or neighborhood events.
