American Connection Corps (ACC) at The YES! House
The YES! House is excited to be a host site for the American Connection Corps (ACC)!
We’re seeking an ACC Member to join our team in Granite Falls, MN, and help strengthen intergenerational connections through arts, culture, technology, and community health and wellness.The ACC Member will help The YES! House team to:
Grow our Senior Tech Ed program by connecting local seniors with tech support and exploring intergenerational volunteer opportunities with local organizations.
Design and implement creative programs that bridge generations; examples might include story-sharing events pairing high school seniors with senior citizens and/or after-school or early-morning gatherings that foster intergenerational connection.
Support wellness and community health initiatives that connect youth and elders to environmental efforts, such as The YES! House Green Team, and wellness practitioners, including yoga, meditation, and rock climbing at The YES! House bouldering wall.
Foster productive aging in our region by creating opportunities for seniors to engage in meaningful, creative events that celebrate their contributions and strengthen ties with younger generations.
This is an incredible opportunity to serve the Granite Falls area, support community connection, and gain hands-on experience in nonprofit arts and community development.
