Stick-or-Treat: Halloween Sticker Design Workshop
October 11, 2025
4 – 6 PM
Join us for the first of two engaging sticker design workshops where attendees will explore sticker design through theme development, composition, drawing, and preparation for printing!
We'll start with an introduction of examples of different sticker styles such as artistic, branding, funny, or abstract, followed by a group discussion of what makes a good sticker. You'll learn about memorable themes, bold lines and contrast, and simplicity.
Attendees will then:
Brainstorm sticker themes and choose one to move forward with
Begin the process of composition and drawing.
Work on creating thumbnail sketches to develop into one final drawing to prepare for printing
Walk through digital preparation and printing basics, as well as how to set up a print sheet on sticker paper
Print a sample sheet of stickers
The workshop will wrap up with attendees sharing their final drawings, providing peer feedback about what works well in each others' design, and reflecting on the importance of balancing creativity and practicality.
Materials for creating stickers will be provided, but attendees may also bring their own materials for sketching out their designs.
Whether you've made stickers before or this is your very first time, this workshop is designed to expand your knowledge on overall design and set sparks to your creative process! Stay tuned to our social media for more information on the second sticker workshop set for this December!
Participation in this workshop is $15 per person and covers costs for materials used during the class, including your personal sticker sheet to bring home.
Registration required | Limited capacity: 20 participants
